Mod Pizza was born in 2014 from a simple but powerful idea: pizza should be personal. Our founders, fueled by late nights, flour-dusted aprons, and an unrelenting love of great food, opened our first location right here in Gilbert, Arizona.
What started as a neighborhood spot quickly grew into something bigger — a movement around fresh, customizable pizza made to order. We believe in using real ingredients, treating every customer like family, and crafting each pizza with care from dough to delivery.

The First Slice
Mod Pizza opens its doors at 2904 S Santan Village Pkwy, Gilbert, AZ. A neighborhood pizza dream becomes a reality, serving our first hundred customers on opening day.
Building a Community
We introduced our build-your-own pizza model — unlimited toppings, same price. Guests loved the freedom, and word spread fast across the East Valley.
Catering Takes Off
After overwhelming demand, we launched our catering service for corporate events, parties, and weddings. Pizza for the masses — done the Mod way.
Franchise Program Launched
We opened our franchise program, allowing passionate pizza lovers across Arizona and beyond to bring the Mod experience to their communities.
Pivoting with Purpose
During challenging times, we doubled down on delivery, curbside pickup, and community support — donating thousands of meals to frontline workers across Gilbert.
